ABOUT EVCS 2
Elmwood Village Charter School 2 was approved as new charter school and will be located at 655 Hertel Ave. in Buffalo. It is modeled on the high performing Elmwood Village Charter School which is currently in it's 10th year of operation.
EVCS 2 will use the same successful, research-based programs as EVCS 1.
EVCS 2 will open in September 2017 with 150 students in grades Kindergarten through 2. It will have 25 students in each classroom, and 2 classrooms per grade level. Applications will be available in December, 2016.
EVCS 2 will use the social and emotional learning systems of Cooperative Disclipline and Responsive Classroom to ensure that all students feel capable, connected and that they contribute to their communities.
